What is Oppo’s Opponion on these? Vs the 340i !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! give the edge to the BMW. I am guessing resale is shit based on these values but what about reliability? Performance? interior? tech?

I didn’t even bother driving it when I was shopping - rear seat room is non-existent (more comparable to a 2 series or A3, not a 3 series/A4) , and interior materials looked cheap - worse than BMW.

I knew those cloth interiors were going to hurt them.

For me, it was the dash materials that put me off- I tend to be a bit picky about that, for whatever reason.
I think the one I saw in the showroom had leather seats (maybe?). Ended up driving a pretty loaded XF that drove nice, but had super stiff seats and was pricey - but still had a little less rear seat room than I wanted.

Yeah, the Cadillac is lousy, too - I meant vs. the 3 series/A4/C Class that are really the benchmarks in this segment.

Just wished they all sold the L versions here. Solves all the complaints.

I find the styling of modern J aguars to be terribly boring.

Is there an L version of the XE and XF? Would make sense - they both need a few more inches in the back to be competitive, for those that car about rear seat room (I do).

Yes there is, and
of course it’s China only.
Think they rather upsell you to the F-Pace if you need extra room.

Damn that’s cheap, though. You’d be looking at like a 2014 max 335i for that.
Sadly, I’d still take the 3-series :(

Good to know these things about the XE. Also, There is an L version of the ATS , again China only add s like 4 or 6 inches of legroom I think . Should have been t he US market model from the start. The rear seat and trunk were the ultimate deal breaker for me. I would have torelated and got adjusted to the terrible CUE even.

Rather a Giulia than an XE35t and 340i eh? I guess the Alfa didn’t even go to limp mode once during the testing, or are they recommending it depiste experiencing m echanical b reakdowns?
